An amazingly beautiful park! The diverse terrain made for a very enjoyable hike.

Woodrat's nest.

Upside-down heart.

Chinquapin.
(Thanks to Bay Area Hiker for plant identification.)

Critter nest?

Sort of looks like an IV bottle.

We were there!

Found these banana slugs snoozing inside a hollowed-out tree.

With the amount of traffic on our way out, it felt like an evacuation was taking place.

Trails:
Jackson Flat Trail, Canyon Trail, Indian Trail, Olmo Fire Trail, Doe Ridge Trail, Goat Hill Trail, Ano Nuevo trail.

Note: At the time of our visit the parking fee was ten dollars (well worth it).

Per the park's website, this is a required to watch video. It explains how any food scraps you may leave behind, however small, can be detrimental to the park's wildlife.
