Elevation Gain: 1,921ft.
We thought we would be escaping the triple digit heat by traveling to the peninsula, where fog and cool ocean breezes are the norm. Unfortunately, neither was present; and ninety percent of our hike was in full sun. It was a long, hot climb to the top.

We so wanted to explore this old bunker! However, there were signs prohibiting it...
