Music to our ears - sounds of rushing water throughout a good portion of our hike. A beautiful way to welcome the first day of winter.
The sky as seen from I-680.
Oh, it's going to be a good day. Wildlife before we even get to the parking lot.
Lots of water - a beautiful site for this drought stricken state.
Here is where we turned off of the main road to walk along the creek. We were in luck, in more ways than one - as you will see at the end of this post.
Not a critter house..
Inside of the trunk.
WWGD? (What would Goat do?) Without hesitation, she would cross the creek.
And so did we. :)
Double tunnels.
It would have been nice to have another one of these signs where we started our hike, along the creek trail. We came up right behind the structures shown in the back. Yikes! Good thing it was Sunday!!
Did not turn the Garmin on until about a mile in.
Trails:
Followed the trail along the creek, Ohlone Road, Backpack Road, McCorckle Trail, Cerro Este Road, Ohlone Road
