A muddy start..
..and it didn't get any better like we thought it would!
Beautiful lace lichen.
What is that up the hill and behind the tree?
Interesting to say the least!

Water trough? Why is there barbed wire just on the ends?
Deer trail. The deer tracks don't show in the pic.
This would make a great owl home if it isn't already occupied by one.
Looks dry. But it wasn't.
Sloshing through mud like this makes for a good workout.
