Elevation Gain: 18 ft. (yes, your read that right - ha ha.)
This was a short, quick, and easy walk. If you don't mind walking near Hwy 101 for a short time and under the flight path of the Redwood City Airport, it's interesting walk.
Snails. Lots and lots of snails. :)

Notice the nose only of an airplane.
At one time you were able to make a loop around the "island", however at this time it was roped off at each lookout point - at least we got an extra mile in having to walk out and back.
