San Pablo Reservoir | Part 2

Today we started where we left off last week, from the boat launch area (there are two - though I could not find any reference to the one we started from - just north of the EBMUD watershed office).

Last week we saw this same type of flower, only white.

Old San Pablo Road has six bathrooms!

And now for the Lakeview trail. If you don't mind doing an out and back hike, rather than a loop, I would suggest skipping the Old San Pablo Road trail (road, being the operative word). Lakeview is so much prettier - and single track - our favorite type.

Not sure if a permit is required at this end. There was no sign-in board, and were not asked for one when we paid for parking ($7.00).
